In under 5 minutes Xiaomi sells 300,000 Redmi K60 smartphones

Redmi, a Xiaomi brand, reported a successful launch of its first flash sale in China. The initial batch of 300,000 Redmi K60 phones, according to the company’s Weibo post, sold out in only five minutes. According to the report, consumers praised the additional features like the Pro variant’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, 1220p screen, and wireless charging.

Three smartphones are available in the Redmi K60 series: the luxury Redmi K60E with Dimensity 8200, the entry-level Redmi K60 with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and the Redmi K60 Pro with a Sony IMX890 sensor and 120W fast charging.

The quantity of gadgets sold seems great since, according to basic math, 100 units were bought per second. The amount is lower than the 330,000 sold Redmi K50 series devices, which were just two smartphones; this is a 10% decrease in the initial flash sale.

Only time will tell whether the Redmi K60 will sell more units overall than the previous model range, but according to our weekly survey, only the Redmi K60 Pro is the desired smartphone.
