Launching the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in China Price and Specifications
The OnePlus 11 was announced during a major event organized by OnePlus earlier today in China, but new hardware was also shown there. We also got the wireless OnePlus Buds Pro 2, which has better noise cancellation, Dolby Atmos spatial audio, and Dynaudio sound tuning. The Buds Pro 2 is the new version of the Buds Pro from last year.
They have the same basic design as the Buds Pro, with two-tone earbuds and a matte charging case. The buds employ the same 11 mm dynamic drivers and 6 mm planar diaphragm drivers. The earbuds’ ANC should block up to 48 dB of ambient noise, and they support Bluetooth 5.3. Each earbud has three microphones for the best speech recognition and noise cancellation.
The Buds Pro 2 work with the AAC, SBC, and LC3 codecs right from the start. However, the LHDC 5.0 codec for high-resolution audio streaming over Bluetooth won’t work until a later software update. A 54-millisecond low-latency option for gaming is available, and ColorOS 11 devices have some cool features like posture and cervical spine pressure monitoring.
Additionally, new Oppo and OnePlus smartphones will offer multiple connections and simple device swapping. According to OnePlus, the Buds Pro 2 have a 39-hour battery life when used with their charging case and no ANC. The case may be connected or wirelessly charged with a USB-C charger.
In China, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 sells for CNY 899 ($130) and is available in black and green. On January 9, open sales will start, and on February 7, details on pricing and availability for international buyers will be made accessible.
